Welcome to Beautiful Soul Art. 

My name is Carla Levarelli Hamm and I am a South African born artist now based in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. I specialise in pet portraits and animal art. My main medium is Soft Pastel Pencils on Clairefontaine PastelMat Board. 

I decided to trade under Beautiful Soul Art rather than my own name because my passion is to capture the true soul of these beautiful creatures and in drawing them I emotionally connect with the subject. It means the world to me when my clients truly see their pet in my Pet Portraits.

I am a self taught artist who learnt a lot from my father growing up. 
My work is photo-realistic and contemporary in style.
Pet portraits are a wonderful way of remembering a special furry family member and I have had the honour of doing a number of remembrance pieces for people who have lost their beloved pets. 
Commissioned drawings make wonderful, unique gifts.
